Mrs. Alisse Winn is an integral part of the Calvary Christian School volunteer network. She joined our volunteer staff in 2010 as a teacher’s aide, helping the kindergarten teacher. She continued to work as an aide for a second year before adding the elementary art program to her list of volunteer duties. Mrs. Winn works tirelessly as both an aide and art teacher, helping the elementary students discover hidden talents and develop skills while having fun.
Mrs. Winn’s favorite verse is Colossians 3:23: “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” When people realize that the Lord is whom they are striving to please, giving their best becomes automatic. Being satisfied with their best also becomes easier. These are truths that Mrs. Winn seeks to impart to each life she touches, whether in the classroom, at recess, or on field trips.
